Gotrax XR Elite Electric Scooter
Ever since it introduced the XR e-scooter as a replacement to the GXL V2, Gotrax kept on improving the recipe. The company first churned out the Ultra derivative of the XR, and recently it has upped the ante with the Gotrax XR Elite electric scooter. Here’s what it brings to the table.
Hiboy MAX Electric Scooter Review
Electric scooters are still booming although some governments are coming up with restrictions and sanctions for those who don’t ride them appropriately – as in with a helmet and not on crowded sidewalks, to start with. Also, don’t ride an e-scooter while drunk. Just don’t.
Now, there are a lot of options you can choose from in the under-$500 e-scooter niche, including the versatile Xiaomi M365. In this review, however, we’ll focus on the Hiboy MAX electric scooter.
Segway Ninebot ES1 Gen 2 Electric Scooter Review
Segway upgraded the Ninebot ES1 electric scooter so the Gen 2 now packs a 300-watt e-motor instead of a 250-watt one. What’s more, Segway is adamant that the scooter (which is of the kickscooter ilk) passed a trial phase that included 6,000+ miles of road ride testing. The Ninebot ES1 is Segway’s entry-level scooter, the lightest it currently offers, and one of the lightest on the market. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at it.
GOTRAX Xr Electric Scooter Review
GOTRAX has a new under-$400 scooter coming to replace the very-reliable GXL V2. It’s called the Xr and you can also have it in Ultra guise, with a more potent e-motor and larger battery pack. Its main rivals are the likes of Swagtron Swagger 5 ($299), Xiaomi M365 ($349), and Segway Ninebot ES2 ($589) - as you can see, pretty rough competition. We had a go at the GOTRAX Xr and here’s what we can report.
Segway Ninebot Max Electric Scooter Review
The Segway Ninebot Max electric scooter is powered by a 350-watt e-motor and trumpets a maximum range of 40 miles. That’s quite impressive, but at the same time, the Ninebot Max is a rather large scooter with few folding options, which puts a dent in practicality. In fact, it could be more destined to e-scooter fleets than personal daily use, although if space is not a commodity for you, the Ninebot Max will not disappoint. Check out the review below to see if this is the e-scooter you’re looking for.
Turboant X7 Electric Scooter Review
The entry-level electric scooter niche is a cutthroat affair right now. Companies that are more or less known in the scooter industry are battling for a piece of the pie as more and more riders are looking at e-scooters as a solution to avoid clogged city traffic or simply as an alternative to shabby public transportation networks that don’t properly cover their areas.
Enter Turboant and their X7 electric scooter, a contraption that’s looking to dethrone the hugely-popular Xiaomi Mi M365 and steal some of its customers. Turboant was kind enough to send us the X7 for reviewing purposes, so inevitably, we took it for a spin. Our impressions are for you to read in the hands-on review that continues below.
Goplus Electric Scooter Review
Did you think there’s not much room for innovation when it comes to electric scooters? Well, think again. Goplus is offering an e-scooter that transforms to let you either stand up or sit down. What’s more, it has a Bluetooth function that lets you play music and its frame build is suitable for both teenagers and adults.
With that in mind, we’ve come up with an overview of the Goplus electric scooter, so that you know what to expect before making the acquisition. Check it out below.
Emaxusa Electric Scooter Review
Not every electric scooter out there is about all-out performance. In fact, most commuters don’t need souped-up e-scooters to cover that last mile from the underground or bus station to their home, so this is where the Emaxusa e-scooter comes into play.
It’s definitely not the most tech-ladden, high-performance electric scooter on the market but it comes wrapped in a sleek, no-nonsense package destined for adult riders that want a particular dose of comfort first and foremost. Let’s find out more about the Emaxusa e-scooter.
NANROBOT D5+ Electric Scooter Review
China-based NANROBOT has been rapidly expanding its electric scooter portfolio over the past years so that it now includes the D5+. Marketed as an adult-oriented e-scooter, the D5+ ticks a lot of essential boxes that customers are more inclined to consider, including the likes of performance and comfort.
What’s more, the D5+ also looks very good in comparison to most of its peers, but keep in mind that all these qualities are reflected in the price tag. Stay with us to find out more about the NANROBOT D5+ electric scooter as we take a closer look at what it brings to the table.
Razor E100 Electric Scooter Review
In case you were wondering how come everybody ignores the children when it comes to electric scooters, well, think again. There are companies that offer such fun contraptions not only to adults, but to kids as well. One such company is Razor and one of its most successful electric scooters is called E100. Now, keep in mind that the E100 is made for children aged eight and above. With that in mind, its top speed is limited to 10 mph for obvious reasons, but it comes in a wide range of lively colors, which is good to see, considering that most e-scooters these days - the adult-focused ones, that is - display the same matte black coating. We also believe this is the perfect introduction a kid can get into the world of electric scooters before moving on to something that packs more performance.
Gotrax GXL V2 Electric Scooter Review
When Gotrax launched the GXL electric scooter, the company was adamant that those who bought it would begin to love their commute. And they were true. The GXL (or Glider XL) became a popular choice and a sought-after electric scooter on Amazon - so much so that Gotrax decided to offer an improved version of it, suggestively called GXL V2 (or Version 2). As some of you might know, the Gotrax GXL is a direct competitor for Xiaomi’s Mijia M365 electric scooter and a popular choice for those with short daily commutes thanks to its zippy character, low weight, and adequate range. Even more enticing for buyers was the “ride now, pay later” program Gotrax offered for its GXL e-scooter. We’ll get to that and more in a jiffy.
Xiaomi Mi (M365) Electric Scooter Review
You might have heard about Xiaomi in a different context than electric scooters, but that’s alright. The Chinese giant has been quickly expanding its tentacles to smartphones and fitness gear (especially bracelets and smartwatches), so it goes without saying that the company couldn’t just sit and watch the e-scooter boom without launching its own product. The Mi electric scooter, which, according to Xiaomi’s marketing talk, was created to work “as simple as it looks.” Well, it does look good, we’ll give you that. In fact, the scooter was awarded the Red Dot Award for design, but as it often happens, coming up with a tempting e-scooter isn’t just about the looks. So let’s dive deeper into what the Xiaomi Mi electric scooter has to offer.
Glion Dolly Electric Scooter Review
E-scooter buyers know they have to deal with a sea of choices that are expanding even more as we write this. But it a market that’s beginning to cover pretty much everything the customer wants, it’s the well-rounded packages that gain the most traction in terms of sales. Such an example is the Glion Dolly electric scooter. Now, its makers say the Dolly was designed to end tedious commutes in such a way that you won’t ever need to travel by car or by bike. In doing that, Glion’s Dolly aims to deliver a pretty frank offer that stays in an affordable price range while offering a little something from each world. Mind you, the Glion Dolly doesn’t tick all the boxes like some of its (way) more expensive peer, but this electric scooter was not created with performance in mind. For that, there are other scooters which we’ll present in detail here on TopSpeed. But for now, let’s take a closer look at the Glion Dolly e-scooter and what it brings for the hardcore commuter.
NANROBOT D4+ Electric Scooter Review
In today’s clogged traffic that’s beginning to affect smaller cities and not just your run-of-the-mill megalopolis, one mobility solution has been and is still adopted on a large scale: the electric scooter. These buzzing machines can take you from A to B around the city at average speeds similar to a car that abides by urban speed limits, with one huge advantage. Unlike cars, electric scooters are not restrained to the road, are obviously much easier to squeeze through traffic, and let you get to that big meeting in time without breaking a sweat - unlike bikes, for example.
The NANROBOT D4+ electric scooter is one of the best such contraptions out there because it ticks a lot of boxes. In fact, its only drawback is the spicy price tag when compared to other electric scooters, but ultimately, if we take into account its capabilities, the sticker becomes justifiable. However, before you actually make a buying decision, let’s see what the NANROBOT D4+ is all about.
Anki Vector Robot
Robots. We’ve made loads of movies about them and we use them to build a lot of stuff, including cars, computers, and smartphones. Sometimes they scare us but most of the time we’re intrigued at how much they have evolved to present day. In fact, one company has taken a big leap into the personal/household robot niche that it’s hard not to imagine a future where these machines get to coexist with us - hopefully in peace. On that one note, meet Anki and their animal kingdom-inspired Vector robot.
Cambox Vision Meca
Fancy recording your track days, through the woods, dirt or just asphalt? A French company who goes by the name “Cambox Vision” is making its life’s purpose to satisfy such necessities. Of course, there are multiple action cameras out there, but none designed and developed purely for motorsports.
Cambox Vision has been making helmet cameras since the last couple of years and currently make helmet cameras specifically to capture beautiful emotions on horseback ("horse"), for motorsports( "meca"), and for extreme outdoor sports ("xtrem"). All of which are 3D printed and hand assembled at their facility in Nantes, France.

ESAVOX - iXOOST
Hustled in the ancient town of Modena, Italy, is an abode of sorts for the automotive culture with greats like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani having their roots running deep through the history of the city to create a legacy for themselves. Coming from the same town is IXOOST, another manufacturer who believes that the skill and imagination needed to produce objects are adapted to those who use them, and not the other way round.
Paying new homage to the craftsmanship of Modena, IXOOST introduces their brand new music docking station – ESAVOX, ‘the birth of sound dedicated to Lamborghini cars’.

911 Soundbar
In the year 1963, Prof. Ferdinand Alexander Porsche designed the legendary Porsche 911. And even to this day, that name has been synonyms to one of the most iconic cars the world has ever seen. It is the longest running production car that still stays true to its roots as the quintessential sports car. The newest edition of this legend is the 911 GT3. Besides its mind-bending performance figures and its handling prowess as a rear engine layout, it carries a glorious exhaust note from the flat six via its titanium silencer and chrome exhaust tips.
“Contemporary. Cool. Iconic.” Has been the tag line of every product that came out of the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See and Berlin. They go beyond the borders of the automobile and create a new styling world for discerning men and women running the show. One such product from this company is the 911 Soundbar. A music sound system that notes every symphony of the sports car being transcended once again through a 911 exhaust unit.
The Bugatti PG Bike. The world’s most exclusive cycle.
To become a worthy successor of the great Bugatti Veyron, it takes a great deal of commitment and sacrifice, even by the people who made it in the first place. Luckily, the French chaps have pulled off a great feat and have given the world the Bugatti Chiron. A car, an uncompromised piece of machinery that has no comparison to anything on the road. And also that it proves that the wealthy live a different way of life than the rest of us.
The French brand is at it once again in reminding us that we’re still peasants. But this time it has nothing to do with horsepower or four wheels. Instead, it is a two-wheeled cycle that Bugatti is making in collaboration with PG, the premier cycle guys from Netherlands. It does, however, share a few things from the car – It is a piece of art, has a lot of carbon fibre and it costs money. Sh*t loads of it.
Porsche 911 GT3 Bluetooth Speaker
Porsche is not just a roaring name for the beast of machines they produce on four wheels. They are equally mean with their posh accessories and gadgets coming out of their official accessories department, Porsche-Design. Accessories for those less fortunate folks who could not get their hands on the actual car. One of such accessory that catches any fine eye for design and basic Porsche instincts is their new 911 Bluetooth speaker.
The 911 speakers is an apparatus that owes its origin and suave design to the parts acquired from the mad 911 GT3 car. Yes, this luxury high-end Bluetooth speaker is built using elements from the exhaust pipe of the 911 GT3 and is a design ecstasy to music gadget lover.
